The sixth season is a refreshing step in the
Weeds "Terra Incognita" for the Botwin family. When awfully stale and soap opera-esque fifth season, Jenji Kohan and a team of writers behind the dark comedy are back in the show arena. The sixth season ended Botwin family ducking and dodging their way down a dark and twisted road. When Botwins circumvent the Mexican Mafia and the FBI, the sixth season of re-point shot of adrenaline, which allows the return of a mark Nancy-looking-like-a-deer-in-the-headlights cliffhangers that were missing after the third period.
The
season 6 is a fascinating walk meanders transcontinental sometimes, but just for the sake of character development and exposure. Overall an excellent season with a brilliant finale.
Really, really missed Elizabeth Perkins (Celia) in the program this season in
Weeds DVD, Moreover, recent episodes were type there. All Silas / Lo Lars came out of nowhere, and the last moments of the final few threw me for a loop and are not as good as the end of the last few years have been. However, I remain faithful to "Weeds" and wait to see what next season will bring.
